here ya go fellas, bought her to learn how to panel beat and got to love it. extremely pi$$ed off however, bought a 2 inch ironman lift all round and it turns out that the car was already lifted to the same height, not 1inch like the previous owner said. anyway, its fitted with konis all round, been rewired, came with spare wheel carrier ect.

plans are bare metal respray with a mat black paint job, everything mat black, including all chromes and pitch black window tint, all acompanied with an off center yellow stripe. underneith i will put the yellow ironman springs too so it matches. diffs going to to get the shock points moved to the top of the diff because my konis were sitting fully extended on idle and i want it to flex like crazy off road and sit alot higher. might also put some blocks too depending on how i go. panard rods getting extended and i would like to do the same with the trailing arms but that requires alot more work so maybe not.

ok, cars just been painted today and i started assembling it, yellow stripe will be getting put on shortly though. the colours underneith are brighter, just now there covered in primer dust, as is everything in the garage.

once the glass is in the front and back it will be off to the suspension center so get the front rebuilt and the new springs put it. then road worthery. cant wait for it all to hurry up and be over so i can start bolting on the supercharger which i will shortly be getting my hands on.

more pics to come when its a little bit more assembeled.

not yet finished, interiors almost done, front not yet lifted, got the supercharger sitting at home now but want to wait till rwc to put it on. also got a set of 18' wheels which are less agressive and more for road use so i can save up a bit and get some extreme trekkers for some mud bashing.

more pics coming.

Looking very nice... Can't wait to see the finished product.

how have you done the lift, and got over the 2 inch issues of drive shaft bindings?

all i did was take off the whole rear end, refurb it and put it back up and together with the 2 inch lift springs. so far ive had no trouble with anything. what are you refering to with the bindings? sorry, my terminology may be a little bit off.

usually with a lift of more than 2 inches, the CV joints have increased risk of failing.

sorry My wordings were slightly incorrect...

http://www.ladaniva.co.uk/baxter/resour ... erLift.htm gives a few ideas and warnings on lift kits.

ahh yeah, i knew about that. the front i have not touched yet as you can see in the picture because i want to take it to a suspension place to rebush the whole front end and put the springs in and worry about it for me. above 2 inchs on the front is danger territory from what ive seen so i should be safe i think.

yeah, looks good, so it's only 2 inches in the rear? if so, looks good. Mind you the trimming of the wheel arches has helped to make it look more...

yeah thats a good thing for me, give it a more agressive look without the price or effort of actually going that much higher. hehe, nah i actually needed to cut them because my tires were 'fighting' with the guards everytime the car flexed so it was actually cut for a purpose. there 30' tires too, hoping now i can go 31s... hopefully.... maybe.
