1989 Lada Niva 1600 / 2 door / 5 sp manual $3,500 AU

Could be the most original, closest to new condition 89 Niva anywhere. Rust proofed when new, and never taken near the beach. An amazing low-mileage, two-owner car that has spent literally just under half of its life in good storage.

Recently had brake system overhauled with stainless steel sleeving all round; clutch master and slave cylinders overhauled and resleeved; new water pump, hoses, belts and heater tap; new battery; rekitted carby.

It's a great car. I think that it would be better appreciated by a true Niva enthusiast.

I am starting to want something closer to the ground, and more from the west of Europe. Fickle, I know.

Too bad im not in QLD right now. For an '89 in tht condition, i'll rob a bank if i have to.

not too expensive to throw on a car transporter chua,you'd have it in about a week....

getting to hard to rob bamks now,the atm is the way to go,better be quick though,not many left around that haven't been blown up...

they picked up my samara rally car in perth,& delivered to brisbane within a week,can't remember how much now,but it was dirt cheap compared to anyone else,& there were no dramas.
