I have always been a niva fan and have joined to "move in the right circles" to purchase one.

Welcome Bd,

well if your looking for a niva, your looking in the right spot, we seem to get a few pop up, have a chat with Andy if you haven't already, he seems to know of anything becoming available before most of us...

Good Luck in hunting for one. :)

:), G'day bd,
And welcome to our forum. I was down your neck of the woods the other weekend for the Airshow. You can keep your weather. There is a red carburettor 1.7 Niva for sale on carpoint. The problem for you may be that it's in Queensland, but as danno said, Andy at Lada and Korean Parts is the man to talk to about anything Lada related.

Cheers,
Ross.

Stranger "What sort of car is that?"
Me "Its a Niva"
Stranger "Is it reliable?"
Me "As reliable as an AK-47!!!"

yep i'll be in but took it for its first run the other day and have a few small issues to sort out first. Running a bit hot and the breaks still need attention. So goona drop it into a radiator joint next week and have a look on the breaks when i get the chance. My main issue with the breaks is that I have rounded off one of the bleeder nipples so i need to get that off somehow now?
cheers
