The whole thing please sir.! I would love the pump, levers and torch in the pouch. Oh and an original crank handle! These items would get used immensley!

Oh of course. Could you not notice the touch of sarcasm in my post :P

Good work on Aus Lada with the Jack placement. Nice and practical.

Original Jacks did come in pouch along with tire levers , torch
and pump, the jack did not meet ADR requirements and was replaced with that crapp scisser one, that ,along with tire levers were put in a replacement bag , the pump and torch were both then fitted under bonnet . :o

ps. have original jack and pouch. ( mint ) :)

If you are still running the original rims ,the tool pouch and torch layed in the upturned spare wheel under bonnet .

with all due respect to Lada & Korean Parts,

Photos show pouch containing jack, pump, tire levers and torch ( crank handle missing ) at P/D the pump and jack would have been removed and placed under bonnet , the small tool pouch along with tire levers and torch would have remained in the Satchel , but as i said the jack did not meet ADR approval and the rest is history ( one photo shows sissor jack ,handle and bag ,this was the Niva Motors replacment.

sorry, not trying to sound rude tb.

the other tool bag is actualy a samara/cevaro/sable one, which actually mounted in the rear of the car between the tail lights, held on by 2x rubber straps.

we used to sell them like that for niva owners who didn't want to mount them under the bonnet....,supply the samara tool bag with jack etc in it....

definetly as said earlier, everything was mounted under the bonnet, jack one side, pump the other (you'll see the straps where they were mounted,& a pointy bracket that poked into the bottom of the jack to locate)

when we were doing pd's,the cars would arrive with a box in the back with jack, crank handle, wipers etcetc.,which we had to fit on ourselves.

you're right about the jacks with the adr crap......
this is the only place in the world where they reckoned the niva jacks/seat belts/& sunvisors were unsafe.....
unbelievable, some of those adr clowns must've been in the pockets of the people who made these here (like bridgestone with the visors)
and the piddly scissor jack they supplied was MUCH more dangerous the the genuine wind up job.

another bad example, during a crash test,a glovebox lid came open on a samara,so they said they couldn't have lids, too unsafe...... :x
thats why samaras have a parcal tray instead of a glove box......cut 3/4 lid off, screw rest back up......

By the end of 1982 the ADRs had gone on longer than anyone thought, the Russians were chomping the leash to send Nivas and would do anything by this time, the jack had failed ADRs and the replacement found, the first 20 Nivas that arrived had the satchel but it proved to be unsatifactory as the handle of the replacement jack would not fit properly and it was another problem that was not wanted and was deleted in favour for the vinyl bag ,also deleted were the complentary push bikes which failed if anyone over 110kg got on them. the satchel turned up again for Samars etc :o First shipment of Nivas arrived 23/7/83
