Spark Plugs and Leads

Postby Chua on Tue Jun 16, 2009 11:02 pm

Was thinking of changing new Super Plus Bosch spark plugs and new HT leads. Bosch recommendation is WR7DP with a 0.8mm gap, but the Niva manual says 0.5-0.6mm. So I am not sure if its advisable to use or not. Does anyone have any experience with these spark plugs b4?

hi chua,

i'd stick with the plain old bp6ey plugs.
you wont really get any gain out of those others,& often they can foul up if you're doing a lot of idling or just chugging around town.

we've had a customer who tried something similar little while ago,had symptoms as above

I just bought a few sets, our local repco had sets of 4 for 4 dollars!!!
One bonus of being an oddball I guess!!!!!!!!!!
Stranger "What sort of car is that?"
Me "Its a Niva"
Stranger "Is it reliable?"
Me "As reliable as an AK-47!!!"
