This has just started in the last few days when my Niva hasn't warmed up to operating temp a vacum switch is flat out clicking, this is only at idle but if I give it a little rev the clicking stops (vacum change) and now the weird part!! the no charge light flashes in time with the clicks!!
The switch is connected to the valve in the coolant line.
This hasn't caused any problems as yet but it sure is interesting

more likely to be the voltage relay next to the voltage regulator on the inner front guard
