Pitty there isn't anything like that goin on anymore, I'd be so keen on gettin a group of nivas together like that, and getting out, having a ball.

well all I can say is thats a real shame...

Took the niva out with some mates, and they were pleasently surprised, especially when they first laughed at me for having one, and actually thinking it was any good offroad.... little did they know

Now looking into getting one themselves

so there may even be a bit of a revival of the 'ol Niva.

Gonna try see if there are other niva folks round who are keen to go have some fun up round noosa way

could still Log booked as Cat 4 and
is possibly the last of 6 Off Road Nivas built by
Niva Motors.

Also any info on the Nivas first pictured?

I Instantly fell in love with the appearance of them and would love to replicate one for my current Niva build. The Paint job, Green and gold, with Niva all over it, I Love it. Any chance I can contact the owner or team manager to ask for permission (I do not want to build a replica which is unwanted or shunned against)? I plan on keeping all my Nivas for many years to come.

shouldn't be a drama scott,it was with the old lada australia in the late 80's.....

those rally nivas looked good back then,& the colour scheme did look really good.
