chain must be loose,thats what smashes the little suckers....

the head will be next.....

Cheers dude I saved the head but I have 2 extra recondition ones lying around both with camshafts and all the chain cogs tensioners shoes just didnt have any spare dampers

im thinking this chain is stretched because the tensioner was right in so im going to have to try the spare one i got see how that one goes

Is the chain damper broken so badly some of its in the sump?
If so, I suggest to lift the engine and remove the broken bits, it might cause problems later on. When I overhauled my engine the last time, found bits and pieces of an old one in the sump.

Yea ill do that when the new damper arrives and ill change the oil and filter while im at it cheers chua
