Spoke to Soda Blaster today, 2 1/2 weeks after dropping my Niva off, turns out I'm going to be waiting a little longer yet... Turns out he's run out of Soda...

So will be looking at least next week before I get it home.

On the up side, engine is completed, ready to bolt back in, also got paint colour sorted.

Looks quite good, not too many repairs needing to be done which is nice

Hated the states, but loved the cruise round the Caribbean. Belize and Cayman Islands were definitely highlights. Best Laugh was catching people stagger back along dock to ship in Cozumel, after trying local Tequila. No snail in these ones...... Scorpions instead. 168 Proof. Didn't try it, but had barrels of laughs at the folk who did, anyone who tried more than one glass, did not walk by themselves, they were wheeled back on board via wheelchair.

went to Los Angeles CA. and Tampa FL, L.A. was a hole, couldn' wait to get out. Traffic in Brisbane is a dream now compared to That... Tampa was ok, still Cozumel, Cayman Islands, Belize and Honduras (now called Isla Roatan) were definitely worth it.

final coat of clear just gone on, now gotta wait till the weekend, till I can go near the car..... Grrr. Looks fantastic though
