Hi all

Just bought my red 92 Niva a few months ago.
Have been rebuilding my engine. Gotten all the parts from Lada Parts Aus. Thanks Andy! Started rebuilding it in August this year and still going. Hope I finish before Christmas!

welcome, once you get the engine back together, you'll have to post up some pics.

Haha..sure mate.

I have a pic of my little "workshop" right now. =) It was taken about a month back. Now the crankcase's in the shop for reboring and so is the cylinder head. Gonna have it sand blasted and resurfaced.

Hello Chua ,welcome i'm a newby as well , every one here seems friendly and VERY helpful . I too have been doing business with Andy & Lada Australia and have nothing but praise , I had a good rave on the phone with him last week and discovered I've done everything about as wrong as I could OOPS , oh well I'll see how things pan out , thanks Andy ordered Fri arvo arrived in this mornings post EXCELLENT

Great to see the old timers and newbies all here in this forum. I got a feeling this forum is going to be a start of some revival....I tried emailing the Niva clubs here in WA. No response and most of the clubs in aus have converted to general 4wd clubs.

And yeah you're right. Everyone here's all so friendly, like our ladas. =)

On top of that, most of us are keen to get together and just play around, either out in the bush, or tinkring with our toys.

shouldn't be too long beofre the Lada clubs become the norm once again (here's hoping)
